It's All Cosy at the Club in Bath!

Bristol based Loungers Group unveiled their second Cosy Club opening in the Southgate Shopping Centre Bath this month as they look to build on their success in Taunton. Cosy Club, Bath officially opened it's doors on 17th June 2011.

Cosy Club is the sister concept to The Lounge which promotes a distinctive quirky, eccentric feel appealing to those who like their home comforts whilst being able to lounge with a full daytime and evening menu on offer. As Alex Reilley, one of the three founding members of the Group, states "it is where the gents club, meets village hall, meets the cricket club”.

Solely retained restaurant advisors Insight Retail Consulting agreed terms for a new lease with Multi Development and their retained agents DTZ & Strutt & Parker for a unit comprising 5,219 sqft, situated on the first floor with a stunning feature balcony with views across the main square.

Cosy Club is expected to be a huge success and act as one of the main attractions to the centre.

Martin Bloom, Managing Director and Founder of IRC, who has been working with the group for some years developing Lounge, is responsible for unearthing new quirky locations and buildings for the concept and is delighted with the success Loungers is having with their openings todate. Martin states “Cosy is a concept of the moment, it’s a reflection of the entire team’s positive energy and hard work to create something completely different in the casual dining going-out sector”.

Cosy Club has further planned openings later in the year in Stamford and Exeter (2012) and will be considering similar propositions to that of the Southgate Centre in Bath.
