Jo Downs Glass teams up with Insight Retail for UK expansion

Insight Retail Consulting (IRC) and Jo Downs Glass Limited (JDG) are pleased to announce their new consultancy relationship.

Based in Cornwall, Jo Downs Glass is the leading producer of fused glass pieces in the UK, producing beautiful and unusual pieces for the home. Jo Downs also takes commissions for one-off pieces for specific projects, both commercial and domestic.  The Jo Downs family includes shop-galleries in Truro, Padstow and St Ives and has recently launched a brand new flagship store in Exeter.

Martin Bloom, Managing Director of IRC and Tom Downs, Director of JDG have signed an agreement bringing Martin’s extensive experience in the retail property market into JDG. Martin will be advising on aspects of merchandising, store benchmarking and retail development.

Both companies are delighted about the partnership.  Tom Downs said ‘Jo Downs Glass is continuing to expand its operations and with Martin’s input we are looking forward to growing our retail base’. Martin Bloom added, ‘I am excited to be working closely with a youthful family-run company that has vision.’
